Our client is part of one of the leading international corporate-groups in its industry (manufacturing / corporate headquarters located in another European country). For our client's successful regional (sales) subsidiary (covering the markets in Germany, the Netherlands & Belgium), located right at the intersection of the attractive metropolitan-areas of the (Southern) Rhineland and the (Northwestern) Rhine-Main-area, we are now filling the vacancy "Regional Finance Director (m/f/d) - Germany, the Netherlands & Belgium".

• The "Regional FD - Germany, the Netherlands & Belgium (m/f/d)" is the Senior Finance Executive for the company's operations in Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium, (currently) covering two sales entities in three countries and one production entity.
• The position combines strategic financial leadership, commercial partnering and operational controlling as well as production controlling.

Description

• The "Regional FD - Germany, the Netherlands & Belgium (m/f/d)" is the Senior Finance Executive for the company's operations in Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium, (currently) covering two sales entities in three countries and one production entity
• The position combines strategic financial leadership, commercial partnering and operational controlling as well as production controlling
• The "Regional FD (m/f/d)" is responsible for ensuring strong financial performance, cash generation, financial discipline and transparency across the regional organisation
• The position is part of the regional leadership-team and works closely with the Regional Managing Director (MD) and the local management-teams (in the region described)
• At Group-level, the position-holder reports to Group Controlling at the Corporate Headquarters (located in the EU) and operates within the Group's financial policies, governance and reporting-framework
• The role leads a finance-organisation of (currently) 10 employees (across the described region)
• Travel to the subsidiaries and the Corporate Headquarters will cover ca. 40% of daily routine
• Key Responsibilities are: Regional Financial Leadership / Profitability & Business Performance / / Commercial- & Manufacturing-Finance / Production-Controlling / Budgeting, Forecasting & Business Planning / Cash Flow & Working Capital / Accounting, Reporting & Financial Control / Tax, Compliance & Risk / Finance-Organisation & Leadership / Finance-Transformation & -Systems

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration - or a comparable education / Additional professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CIMA, WP (Wirtschaftsprüfer/in), Steuerberater/in or equivalent would be a plus
• Several years of relevant work-experience in a Senior Finance Manager-, Director-, Head of Finance- or comparable role
• Strong experience with both Commercial Finance & Manufacturing (Production) Controlling
• Experience with Group-reporting, -consolidation & -accounting (IFRS)
• Experience in an international, multi-entity organisation / comfortable working in a matrix-organisation
• Experience working with Senior Operational and Commercial Managers & Directors
• Experience reporting to a Corporate- and/or Group Finance-organisation
• Experience managing and developing Finance-teams
• Proficiency in SAP and MS-Office; experience with BI-tools is a plus
• Business fluent in German & English, both written and spoken
• Commercially minded rather than purely accounting-oriented / Hands-on and pragmatic
• Able to operate effectively between local management and Group Headquarters
• Experience in both medium-sized companies and international organisations
• An agile and solution-oriented approach to work; a person with strong communication- and leadership-skills
