Senior Group Accounting and IFRS Specialist (m/f/d)


  • Take an active role in the preparation of the Group's monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
  • Act as a central expert for IFRS accounting topics and ensure the consistent application of accounting standards and Group accounting policies across all subsidiaries.
  • Monitor new and amended IFRS standards, assess their impact on the Group and actively coordinate their implementation across the organisation.
  • Translate new IFRS requirements into practical Group accounting guidelines, processes and reporting requirements and support subsidiaries in their application.
  • Advise international subsidiaries and internal stakeholders (M&A / Investment / Controlling) on complex accounting, reporting and consolidation matters.
  • Review financial statements, balance sheets and income statements of local and international subsidiaries in line with Group accounting policies and IFRS requirements.
  • Contribute to the preparation of the Group's internal monthly management reporting for the Executive Board.
  • Support the continuous development and optimisation of Group consolidation processes, accounting controls and reporting structures.
  • Act as a key contact for external auditors, subsidiaries and internal departments regarding IFRS, Group accounting and consolidation matters.

  • You have successfully completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a comparable field.
  • You bring several years of professional experience in Group Accounting, Group Consolidation, Audit or Accounting Advisory, ideally within an international Group environment.
  • You have profound practical knowledge of IFRS (impairment testing, financial instruments, joint arrangements, consolidation concept in general).
  • Ideally, you have developed or updated Group accounting policies, accounting guidelines or reporting instructions and supported subsidiaries in their practical implementation.
  • You have experience in Group consolidation and relevant consolidation techniques.
  • Sound knowledge of HGB and relevant German accounting requirements complements your profile.
  • You are familiar with common consolidation and ERP systems; experience with LucaNet and SAP is highly desirable.
  • You work independently, in a structured and process-oriented manner and are comfortable coordinating accounting topics across different countries and functions.
  • You communicate confidently with subsidiaries, auditors, management and internal stakeholders and are able to explain complex accounting requirements in a clear and understandable way.
  • You are proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • You are fluent in written and spoken German and English.
