Head of Continuous Improvement (f/m/d)

Our site in Regensburg is a competence center for high potent solids, e.g. cancer medicines.


You will be responsible for enhancing the productivity of the Regensburg site through the development and execution of a comprehensive medium- to long-term improvement plan. Your primary focus will be on streamlining processes by eliminating waste (eliminating inefficiencies) and driving sustainable improvements across all (operational) areas:

  • Leading a small but highly specialized team of two Continuous Improvement (CI) Managers
  • Drive the site's master plan for continuous improvement based on KPI status and achievements
  • Planning, leading, coordinating improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methods to achieve the objectives
  • Drive OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) improvement and operational performance
  • Creating, maintaining, and further developing reports and dashboards relevant to continuous improvement
  • Providing support to other departments in analyzing, optimizing, and standardizing processes
  • Building and maintaining a continuous Improvement culture that promotes proactiveness and collaboration
  • Coaching and enabling all employees in Lean methods
  • Strengthening quality and safety standards
  • Promote continuous improvement mindset and support the organizational transformation

  • University degree or equivalent in Operations, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain
    Management
  • Proven track record in leading transformative operational initiatives within a manufacturing environment, preferred GMP environment
  • In-depth expertise in lean methodologies, including Voice of the Customer, process efficiency,
    performance management, organizational development, and behavioral change
  • Strong knowledge of transformation frameworks, including preparation, diagnostics, future state
    design, tactical implementation planning, execution, and continuous improvement
  • Experienced in designing and establishing continuous improvement (CI) structures and leveraging
    business intelligence tools
  • Excellent project management, team leadership, and coaching skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines
  • Fluent in German and proficient in English
